Grim task ahead for rescue workers

As workers continue to search for the living and the dead in New Orleans, FoxNews now gives word that 25,000 body bags have been prepared. They probably won't need them all but better to have more than not enough. Regardless, the estimations continue to be revised upward:

When asked if authorities really expect to find 25,000 bodies, Bob Johannessen, spokesman for the state Department of Health and Hospitals, said: "We don't know what to expect."

Mayor C. Ray Nagin had earlier said New Orleans' death toll could reach 10,000. Already, a temporary warehouse morgue in rural St. Gabriel that had been prepared to take 1,000 bodies was being readied to handle 5,000. The official death toll in Mississippi climbed to 201 Wednesday, but more than 1,000 are feared dead there, too.

Pretty sobering numbers. I'm not going to talk politics in this particular post. Just please help out however you can. I have a few links for Katrina aid on this page and you may know of other ones that you would rather use. Just use them.
