Peter Jennings dies at 67

Peter Jennings, one of the most well known faces in network news broadcasting, died yesterday in his New York City home. This was somewhat shocking only in that it happened so quickly after his cancer diagnosis. Regardless of what those of us on the right may have thought of his personal views, we still ought to admire what he achieved in his career. To go from high-school dropout to evening news anchor on one of the "big 3" networks is a pretty amazing feat. Our sympathies go out to his family and friends.
