NASA Hails 'Outstanding Success' of Shuttle Mission

(CNSNews.com) - The Space Shuttle Discovery made an early-morning landing, without incident, at Edwards Air Force Base in California Tuesday morning, to the relief of NASA and Americans who watched the much-anticipated descent live on television.

Touchdown happened at 8:12 a.m. EDT. The shuttle's heat shield, damaged by falling foam at liftoff, did not cause any problems.
